What we keep, and why.

Imprinted works on the material you feed it. That means we hold some of your data — so here is the whole of it, without the legal fog.

What we store

Your account. Email address, and the identifier from Google or Apple if you sign in that way. Passwords are never stored in readable form.

Your material. The text, links, and files you add, plus the graphs, readings, and flashcards generated from them.

Your study record. Reviews, grades, and scheduling state — the engine cannot space repetition without it.

Your plan. Which plan you are on, when it started, and any cancellation feedback you choose to give.

We do not sell data, and we do not use your material to train public models.

Why we are allowed to (legal basis)

Contract — your account, material, and study record exist so we can provide the service you signed up for.

Consent — optional product analytics, which you can turn on or off at any time via .

Legitimate interest — keeping the service secure and preventing abuse.

Who processes it with us

Hosting and database: Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase), in the EU. AI generation: model providers reached through the Lovable AI Gateway — they process the text you submit to produce your graph and do not keep it for training. Public images shown on nodes come from Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons.

How long

Your material stays until you delete it, or until you close your account. Deleting a graph removes its nodes, readings, and flashcards. After account closure we remove personal data within 30 days, except where accounting law requires us to keep payment records.

Your rights

Under GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how it is used, and take it elsewhere in a portable form. You can also withdraw consent for analytics without losing any part of the product.

Delete individual graphs yourself in the app at any time. For a full export or account deletion, send us a message through the contact form and we will act within 30 days. If you think we got it wrong, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

We use very few, and none for advertising. The details are on the cookie notice.
